Students do not handover body to Police

                                                Students of ASA (Ambedkar Students association) and other gathered to the NRS hostel where Rohit Vermula hanged himself. They did not allow police to enter in hostel premises stating that Vice chancellor should come and answer them before they handover the body. Students also demanded to book an FIR against prof. Podile who was a committee member of investigation which suspended the Rohit and other four students.

                         The protestors also damaged an ambulance which was called by police. The security was also roughed up by crowd who tried to persuade them. They told police that they will only handover body when Vice Chancellor Prof.Appa Rao comes out to talk to them. Since the Rohit along with other students were protesting in the campus after expulsion no university official has visited to the hostel so far. The body was kept in lobby of the hostel till last reports came in. Some protesters also alleged that Vice chancellor is hiding for many days to avoid this protest.
