The
letter written by Union Minister Bandaru Dattatraya was one of the example of
increasing involvement of politicians. ABVP and ASA are some organisations
which are set up at the university campus and getting linked with political
parties. Many events of protests are seen in past few days which became a
problem for the campus atmosphere. Rohit Vermula was also one of the activist
with ASA who organised many events and protest against different issues. Beef
celebration, protest for hanging of Yakub Memon were also some events among
them. The university also provides kind of reservation and some concession for
Dalit and minority students. Rohit Vermula was one among them who was living in
university hostel and he was also getting fellowship of Rs. 25,000 from
university. University also has many scholarship programs for its scholar
